Another Sunday, Another Naive Weekly — Observations From The Internet Wilderness.
Good morning,
We went for dinner in a nearby town and — as they sing in the song — got caught in the rain. So we are soaking wet as I write these words on the train home to Parkhotel Mondschein.
I accept the wet clothes in return for the tasty overnight ragu. And for witnessing Uno taking the empty potato chips bowl to the bar asking for a refill and the joy on his face as he carried the load back to our table.
Tuesday, we are flying home. But if you want a personal message from Bolzano, you can order a postcard.
With care,
Kristoffer

Field Notes
Reversing the Flow of Internet Expansion
The ambition level of Kew Bewersdorf’s short reflection on internet expansion is sky high and helps me ignore questionable statements. For example, I tend to believe that the internet’s perpetual expansion and perfect memory is a hallucination, if not just cheap advertisement-speak and fundraising tactics. However, I appreciate the effort to diagnose cultural norms through online behavior and the courage to express immature ideas.
Aidan Quinlan’s Map
Here is a request: please make maps and send them to me. What you represent is less crucial. In the linked example, Aidan Quinlan freely mixes concepts, people and drawings. Many of Aidan’s marks are known to me, but enough are new or with novel connections to make it well-worth dragging around.
WWWonderful Awards
In our friendly celebration of roadside flowers it is time to vote between Incorporeal Company and Town. Remember that the selection is intentional, the pairing is random, and the voting criteria are for you to decide.
See last week’s result and follow the celebration here.
