Dear reader
Since my last newsletter in early July, we left the heatwave in Athens to visit family in Austria and Slovenia. The first days were rainy. Tropical rain-rainy with thunderstorms and falling trees. I soaked the water like plants do after a dry season and jumped in the puddles with Uno, who turned three years old, leaving me with sentimental wet eyes and pride.
Another thing that happened during the newsletter hiatus was Tiny Awards. We received 1500 votes across the nominated sites, and Rotating Sandwich won. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped manifest our tiny award for the small, playful and heartfelt web.
Wednesday it is my birthday, and Friday, many of my friends in the computer join me at the National Film School of Denmark for the inaugural edition of Naive Yearly. It is going to be an extraordinary moment when I take the stage to set the day in motion in front of such a caring audience. I’m writing this because it might mean I won’t send a newsletter next Sunday.
